불교는 믿음같은 형이상학적인 개념을 강요하기 보단 불자들에게 계속 공부하고 깨달으라고 요구함

그렇기에 내가 체험했던 미얀마, 태국 불교는 분위기가 신도들끼리 굉장히 학술적인 심포니움같은 분위기가 되는게 좋았음

한국불교는 개신교와 다름없는 기복신앙 위주라 희망따위 안보이지만...

같은 이유로 원불교도 참 좋은 종교인듯
(참고로 원불교는 불교가 아님)

법정도 비판꺼리는 많지만 그래도 한국 불교에 큰 영향을 끼친 인물이고 민주화에 없어선 안될 인물이었으니...나름 한국불교에 비판적인 입장이지만 그래도 한국 불교에 성철과 함께 대단한 인물이었다고 생각함
